An antiquated demonic relic or your best friend against an overwhelming enemy army? You don’t have to be a satanist to appreciate what the warlock can do for you. As the only unit with an area of effect damage it can many times be the deciding factor between win or loss. The warlock is especially successful against slow moving, larger groups of enemies. He has great attack range which means that he can often serve as a background player, slowly grinding down the enemy and giving you an extra edge on the battlefield.
When you devise your strategy with the warlock in mind, remember that it is essential to keep the enemy units at range and to keep him away from fast moving units such as knights. Also keep in mind that you will only be able to have one warlock unit up at the same time, and that you get what you pay for – he ain’t cheap.
